University of Delhi intends to start MScPhD in cancer care

The University of Delhi (DU) intends to start an MScPhD programme in cancer biology and infectious diseases at its Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC) from 2016. It also proposes to conduct co-ordinated research in cancer biology and infectious diseases, particularly tuberculosis. Students admitted to CIC will undertake coursework equivalent to a semester. They will undertake co-ordinated research work jointly with education and research units within and outside the university. These are BR Ambedkar Centre for Biomedical Research; Department of Chemistry; Department of Zoology; VP Chest Institute, DU; Department of Biochemistry, South Campus; Department of Genetics, South Campus; Maulana Azad Medical College, DU; University College of Medical Sciences; Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology, CSIR; Chaudhary Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan, Delhi; All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi.
