Admissions start at Times School of Journalism
Times School of Journalism (TSJ), a leading institute run by The Times of India Group, has announced the admission schedule to its postgraduate diploma course for 2015-16.
The yearlong journalism programme at TSJ has four months of comprehensive hands-on internship in leading group brands like The Times of India, The Economic Times, economictimes.com, timesofindia.com, ET Now, Times Now, Zoom, etc, and also select media brands outside the group. The last date for applications is April 30.
Unlike other journalism colleges, TSJ students have an edge as the focus is on integrated journalism across all three media platforms—print, broadcast and digital (online).
TSJ also has the unique distinction of having a faculty comprising solely of senior editors working not only with the Times of India group but also other leading media brands. This rare privilege of being trained by future recruiters and a hands-on approach to training gives students the much-needed edge when working real-time in various newsrooms, thereby ensuring a track record of 100% placement for all performers.
All those who are young, charged, passionate, opinionated, have a way with words, love deadlines and challenges, enjoy a supercharged work environment and want to make a name in journalism, TSJ is the place to be. To be eligible to join, one needs to be a graduate in any stream with at least 45% marks and less than 28 years old. Those appearing for their final year exams can also apply.
